Dr. Stephen D. Killops - Senior Geochemist  

Steve has a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry from Bristol University, England. His working career has covered Post Doc research, teaching, natural products chemisty, lecturing in organic geochemistry (Royal Holloway College, London University), research and commercial work at Masspec Analytical (UK) and GNS in New Zealand, and independent consulting. He tutors earth science courses for the Open University, has recently completed a revision of the book "An Introduction to Organic Geochemistry" (Killops and Killops) and has a long list of scientific publications to his name.

Steve has worked on formation of kerogen and coal, generation and migration, depositional environments, light hydrocarbons in reservoir geochemistry, chemotaxonomy, source evaluation and oil-source correlation.

Steve is currently on a temporary contract for the rest of 2005 and will be working on both multiclient non-proprietary and single client, proprietary projects.
