Magne Løfaldli, Senior Micropaleontologist

Magne completed his Cand. Real. degree in geology and Quaternary micropaleontology in 1972 after studies at the universities of Oslo and Aarhus (Denmark). Initially he worked for the Norwegian Research Council (NTNF) before transferring to IKU in 1975, working with Jurassic to Tertiary micropaleontology. From 1984-1987 he worked on Mesozoic and Tertiary micropaleontology in North Africa for Arabian Gulf (Libya) before returning to work at STRATLAB in 1987 and APT from 2001
