Use of Control Chart
If a value is outside the ±3δ interval, the instrument must be check to find out what caused the error, and the problem must be corrected. If we have 7 points after each other between the green (±2δ) and the red line (±3δ) this indicates that a systematic error has been introduced. The method must then be check and the problem must be corrected.
